ABOUT ME

My name is Darren Pigliacelli and welcome to my urban planning blog and personal website. I am a passionate urbanist that loves exploring, photographing and studying cities, particularly Toronto. I am a recent Urban & Regional Environmental Studies grad and am currently a Masters of Urban & Regional Planning candidate at York University.

I am a dedicated person to the field of urban planning, whether it may be traveling, exploring and photographing urban environments; researching and studying cities at York University or whether it may be working with York Region’s Planning & Economic Development Branch to monitor the region’s employment and economic growth trends; or working with Lura Consulting to understand communities interests and concerns. With these experiences, I have developed an advanced knowledge and understanding of the planning, design, and economics of cities and urban environments.
